Only current Dobie Twenty21 residents can purchase the optional Dobie Unlimited plan; a meal plan is not required. This plan is available for purchase on a term-basis for the fall and spring terms in the housing portal.

The Dobie Unlimited meal plan will be available for purchase for the fall term  in the resident’s housing portal beginning July 1, 2023. Billing will be on a resident’s What I Owe page the day after the plan is selected.

No, the Dobie Unlimited plan is only available for purchase and use during the fall and spring terms. It cannot be purchased or used during the winter and May terms or the summer semester.

The Dobie Unlimited meal plan must be purchased prior to the 12th class day in the fall or spring terms. The Longhorn 25 or 60 plans can be purchased at any time.

The Dobie Unlimited plan, including Dine In Dollars that come with this plan, expire at the end of the term it was purchased for, either fall or spring. If you purchased a Longhorn 25 or 60 plan, the meal plan rolls over as long as your UT ID is active. All plans are non-refundable.

Your card is activated when you see a balance in your Dine In Dollars and a meal count number greater than 0 after paying the bill through What I Owe. You may need to wait up to 60 seconds and refresh the page after paying.

You can review your transaction history and see your account balance in your meal plan account portal.

You can reload your Dobie Twenty21 meal plan at any time by purchasing either the Longhorn 25 or 60 plan.

Once your UT ID is inactive, any remaining funds on your Dobie Twenty21 meal plan are non-refundable.

The Dine In Dollars amount in the meal plan works like cash that can be used to purchase food and beverages at restaurants, coffee shops and convenience stores operated by UHD. Learn more about these dining locations. Use Dine In Dollars by handing your UT ID to the cashier, and the amount of the purchase will be deducted from your account.

The Longhorn 25 and 60 plans can be used any time Jester City Limits, J2 and Kins Dining are open.

The Dobie Unlimited plan is active between the dates the residence halls open and close for the fall and spring terms. You can find these dates on the university academic calendars. During this time, the plan can be used whenever Jester City Limits, J2 and Kins Dining are open.

You can use your Longhorn 25 or 60 meal plan to pay for a guest meal. The Dobie Unlimited meal plan cannot be used to pay for a guest meal.
