On the south side is Cypress Bend Cafe, an all-in-one grill and market with a new coffee bar that brews your favorite Starbucks drinks in a convenient setting. Whether you’re looking to meet a friend, study with easy access to caffeine or grab a coffee in between class, both shops have you covered.
Littlefield Patio Cafe (LPC)
Adjacent to Littlefield Hall on the edge of the Quad courtyard, this campus standby has long been a favorite for nearby residents and faculty members. Now sporting an updated interior and exterior, the cafe is a sure draw for any Longhorn seeking a caffeinated beverage in a charming environment.
Accenting the renovation is a covered patio and new indoor seating, which is still abundant but now evokes the inviting space of a coffeehouse. If you’re in a time crunch, you can take your Peet’s lattes, mochas and cold brews to go; they’ll be prepared promptly by our friendly and skilled baristas. But LPC’s setting now invites you to sit a little while. Pair your drink with a sweet or savory scratch-made pastry or specialty gelato and catch up with a friend, hunker down to study or just relax and people-watch.
Hungrier patrons will be happy to see that the cafe offers options more substantial than a pastry with a selection of breakfast tacos, smoothies, deli sandwiches and sliced pizza. On the go? Grab a la carte breakfast and lunch items from our refrigerated cases as well as assorted beverages.
Cypress Bend Cafe
Convenience abounds at Cypress Bend Cafe, which has long provided students, faculty and staff a range of food and drink options at the base of San Jacinto Hall. Thanks to a recent renovation, the cafe now boasts a dedicated coffee bar serving up your favorite Starbucks hot, iced and blended beverages alongside pastries, packaged meals and gelato.
Beyond coffee and quick bites, visitors can still expect the broad selection of made-to-order meals that Cypress Bend Cafe is known for. Choose from breakfast burritos, bowls and other energizing fare in the morning, and from a variety of sandwiches and burgers at lunch. Want to stay a little while? Pair your food with a fountain drink and take it outside to the cafe’s abundant patio seating overlooking Waller Creek and revel in this new update to an old favorite.
