Learning and Outcomes Report

Each year, we ask our residents to give us feedback on how we’re doing so we can better serve them. We turn their feedback about their experiences with our residence life programs, facilities, dining operations, business services and human resources into an annual report. We also highlight departmental achievements, new programs or initiatives, and other notable information. The report focuses on our vision, mission and the three goals of our residential curriculum, Strategies That Educate and Engage our Residents (S.T.E.E.R.).

2021-2022 Report Highlights

  • Over half of surveyed residents reported they were better able to use their self-management skills for responsible decision making, balancing commitments and solving problems.
  • We hired a record 798 new student employees, received 1,552 student job applications and employed 189 resident assistants.
  • Residence life kept students engaged with 22 curricular programs, 45 large-scale programs focused on community-building and a number of signature events.
  • University Apartments residents participated in the learning and outcomes survey for the first time and 88.78% of those surveyed were satisfied with their living experience.

Take a look at the 2021-2022 report and other previous Learning and Outcome reports.

Current residents will receive an initial email about the survey with a link to participate in late January. They’ll receive email reminders until the survey closes on March 10. The survey takes about 10 minutes to fill out and the feedback we receive will help us serve our residents best.
