Residence Hall Rates for 2023-24, Fall and Spring Terms

These rates are for both fall and spring terms. All rates include room, meal plan, internet service and laundry. The meal plan allows residents unlimited visits at our dining halls, $300 Dine In Dollars per term that can be spent at the various on-campus restaurants, coffee shops and convenience stores we operate, and $200 Bevo Pay funds that can be used at on- and off-campus merchants. Rates do not include applicable sales tax.

Shared community bath spaces are available in Andrews, Blanton, Brackenridge, Carothers, Creekside, Kinsolving, Littlefield, Moore-Hill, Prather, Roberts and Whitis Court.

Residence Hall Rates for Summer 2024

These rates are for summer housing in San Jacinto Hall. All rates include room, meal plan, internet service and laundry. Meal plans vary by contract length. May term contracts include $400 Dine In Dollars and $25 Bevo Pay. The first and second term contracts include $500 Dine In Dollars and $50 Bevo Pay funds. The nine-week session contract includes $700 in Dine In Dollars and $75 Bevo Pay funds. The whole session contract includes $900 Dine In Dollars and $100 Bevo Pay funds. Bevo Pay funds can be used at on- and off-campus merchants. Rates do not include applicable sales tax.

Summer housing bills post on the My Housing page the week before residents’ selected term begins and can be paid on the What I Owe page. Billing due dates vary by session.

The 2024-25 rates are preliminary. Final rates will not exceed these amounts and are subject to review and approval by the UT System.

Billing and Payment Info

Housing Bills and Installment Options for Fall and Spring Terms

Fall housing bills post in mid-August and spring housing bills post by mid-January on the My Housing page. Financial aid is automatically applied to housing bills. We will send you an email reminder when a bill is posted.

Your housing payment may be paid in full or in installments. For billing options, transaction details and to print your bill, visit View Your Payment Plan.

Installment options:

Pay for the year - If paying for the fall and spring terms in full, you must do so by 5 p.m. CST on the 12th class day of the fall term.

Pay by term - At no extra charge, this payment may be split into two installments that respectively cover the fall and spring terms’ housing costs. If choosing this two-installment option, payment is due by 5 p.m. CST on the 12th class day of the fall term and by 5 p.m. CST on the 12th class day of the spring term.

Pay by installments - For an additional $50 charge each term, you can pay in six installments. Payment must be made by 5 p.m. CST on the 12th class day of the fall term, October 15, November 15, on the 12th class day of the spring term, March 15 and April 15.

Late Fees

If payment is received after the due date, or if it is less than the full amount due, a late fee of $25 will be charged to your account, and a hold may be placed on your registration, degree conferment and official transcripts.

Payment Information

Students can pay in person using cash, personal check, cashier’s check or money order at the Cashier’s Office in Main Building, Room 8, Monday through Friday 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Students can also pay online via What I Owe using an e-check, electronic funds transfer or card payment (Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express). There is a 2.3% convenience fee for card payments.

Students can mail payments. Checks should be made out to The University of Texas at Austin, include the student’s name and EID on the check, and be addressed to University Housing and Dining, 200 W. Dean Keeton St., Austin, TX 78712.
