Roberts Hall - Virtual Tours

This fully furnished one bedroom residence hall room houses two residents in a shared space. Against the wall to the immediate left of the entry door are two small closets. Past the closets on the near and far left sides of the room are two sets of identical furniture adjacent to each other. Each furniture set includes a lofted twin XL bed with a small cabinet underneath, desk, desk chair and wall-mounted corkboard. To the immediate right of the entry door is a built-in pantry shelf followed by wall space and a built-in dresser with a mirror above it. This room contains a trash can, recycling bin, MicroFridge and microwave. There are hardwood floors throughout, two windows with blinds attached and overhead lighting.

Does my room come with a MicroFridge?

All residence hall rooms come with one MicroFridge. Only one refrigerator is allowed per room, please do not bring a second one. For accommodations, please contact our housing team at housing@austin.utexas.edu.

Does my room have a trash can and recycling bin?

All residence hall rooms come with a small trash can and recycling bin. You are responsible for placing your garbage in the trash collection area on your floor.

Can I loft or bunk my bed?

Yes you can. All furniture in Roberts is moveable.

Does the room have air conditioning and heating?

All of our residence halls have AC and heat. Roberts Hall residents are able to control the temperature of their own room within a certain range.

Roberts Residence Hall is in between both Jester Center and San Jacinto Hall. Jester Center has two dining facilities, a convenience store and an assortment of other food and drink stops. San Jacinto is the home of Cypress Bend Cafe. Please visit our Dining page for more information.

This community-style bathroom contains two sinks, two toilet stalls and two shower stalls. The sinks are to the immediate left upon entry, with mirrors and lighting above them. Lining the wall to the immediate right are the two shower stalls, followed by the toilet stalls. Each shower stall contains a changing area and shower area, separated from each other by a curtain. All stalls feature lockable doors. The bathroom also features a hand dryer, trash can, recycling bin, tile flooring, walls that are a combination of tile and drywall, and overhead lighting.

Showers and stall privacy?

All showers and stalls are single person use and private.

Can anyone use this restroom?

Each restroom has a specific code given to the residents at check-in for the restroom on their floor. Guest restrooms can be found near the front desk.
