Double Room

Accessible Description

This fully furnished one bedroom residence hall room houses two residents in a shared space. Each side of the room features a small closet, dresser with an overhead mirror, an XL twin size bed with a wall-mounted corkboard above it, and a desk with a chair and overhead shelving. The two small closets are located on each side of the entry door and feature shelving, a clothing rod and a door-mounted towel rod inside. Opposite the entry door is the room’s window with blinds attached, which is situated above a long cabinet connecting the room’s two desks. In front of the cabinet is the room’s MicroFridge, microwave, trash can and recycling bin. The room features tile floors, overhead lighting and wall-mounted lighting above both dressers.

Can I loft or bunk my bed?

Yes, you can. All furniture in Creekside is moveable.

Does my room have a trash can and recycling bin?

All residence hall rooms come with a small trash can and recycling bin. You are responsible for placing your garbage in the trash collection area on your floor.

Does my room come with a MicroFridge?

All residence hall rooms come with one MicroFridge. Only one refrigerator is allowed per room, please do not bring a second one. For accommodations, please contact our housing team at housing@austin.utexas.edu.

Does the room have air conditioning and heating?

All of our residence halls have AC and heat. In Creekside the AC and heat are controlled by our facilities staff. To adjust the temperature in your room you can submit a maintenance request form (MRF).

Which dining locations are nearby?

The nearest dining locations to Creekside are Littlefield Cafe, which you can get to if you walk west on Dean Keeton St., and Cypress Bend, which you can get to if you walk south on San Jacinto Blvd. Please visit our Dining page for more information.

Where is my bathroom and shower?

Your community bathroom is located down the hall from your room. You will be given a code at check-in for your gender-specific bathroom. For accommodations, please email housing@austin.utexas.edu.

Community Bathroom

Accessible Description

This community-style bathroom is a large rectangular room with two entry doors, eight sinks with overhead mirrors, four urinals, seven toilet stalls and six shower stalls with curtains. The entry doors are located diagonally across from one another in two corners of the room. The toilet stalls and urinals line the walls to the left of these doors upon entering, with four stalls and two urinals on one wall and the rest on the other. The sinks and shower stalls are built into the long sides of an enclosed rectangular structure in the middle of the room. On the sink side of the room, there are two large trash cans, two recycling bins, a hand dryer and three towel rods lining the wall opposite the sinks. The room features a frosted glass window and tile flooring and walls throughout.

Can anyone use this restroom?

Each restroom has a specific code given to the residents at check-in for the restroom on their floor. Guest restrooms can be found near the front desk.

All showers and stalls are single person use and private.
