Van Nguyen serves as the Director of Purchasing and Support Services. She provides strategic leadership for purchasing operations, contract management, compliance and administrative support services. Van oversees procurement and sourcing initiatives, improving operational effectiveness and supporting the department’s strategic objectives.

Van oversees procurement and sourcing initiatives, improving operational effectiveness and supporting the department’s strategic objectives.
She has more than 20 years of experience in leadership, contract administration and accounting within higher education. Van has held various accounting roles in both the public and private sectors throughout her career. Prior to joining UHD, she served as the Associate Director of Finance for UT Recreational Sports.
Van received her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin.
