Director of Occupancy Management and Outreach
Melissa Garland is the Director of Occupancy Management and Outreach. She oversees the Occupancy Management team and its operations including housing tours, applications, room selection and assignments. Her role focuses on helping students find the best housing option and connecting them with campus and community resources.
She has over 10 years of experience in student housing programs including apartment housing, conferences, family housing and Greek-affiliated campus housing.
Melissa received her bachelor’s degree in communication studies from Tarleton State University. Additionally, she holds a master’s degree in education from Texas Christian University.
