How to Apply

To apply for part-time positions, choose the appropriate candidate category and follow the steps.

External Candidates
  1. You will need a UT EID to apply for a job at the university. If you do not have a UT EID already established, then please create one here.
  2. Visit the UT Austin Job Search site.
  3. To view our part-time job openings, select the “Part time” option and type “Housing and Dining” in the search bar. This will show only the job openings in our department. You can learn more about each position by clicking on the position title.
  4. When you find a position you are interested in, click the orange “Apply” button. Follow the prompts to create an account and submit your application. You will need to submit a resume, three references, and in certain cases, a letter of interest to apply.
Internal Candidates
  1. Log into Workday using your EID and password.
  2. Search “Find UT Jobs” and click on the search result blue link.
  3. To view our job openings, select the “Part time” option and type “Housing and Dining” in the Find UT Job Search field. This will result in a list of all available part-time openings within our department. You can learn more about each position by clicking on the position title.
  4. When you find a position you are interested in, click the orange “Apply” button and complete your application. You will need to submit a resume, three references, and in certain cases, a letter of interest to apply.
