How to Live on Campus Again in 2017-2018

Current residents who apply to live on campus by January 31, 2017, are guaranteed to receive a contract offer.

The calendar below outlines the application and contract timeline for current residents who would like to live on campus again for 2017-2018.

Thank you for choosing to return to live on campus for 2017-2018. To access your contract, please login to your housing portal. You will need to provide the $300 advance payment in order to sign your contract. The deadline to provide the advance payment and sign the contract is by midnight on February 17. Once you have signed your contract, you will be able to provide information regarding your building/room preferences, roommate preferences, and accommodation requests.

Date Description
Aug. 1 Current residents may begin applying for housing. Please note that your housing priority was set the first year you lived on campus. Applying early will not improve your housing priority.
Jan. 31 Final day to apply and pay a $50 application fee. Current residents who apply to live on campus by today's deadline are guaranteed to receive a contract offer.
Feb. 3 Contracts are ready for you to accept. Accept your contract and provide $300 advance payment on your Housing Portal page. Once you have signed your contract, you will be able to provide information regarding your building/room preferences, roommate preferences, and accommodation requests.
Feb. 17 You will need to provide the $300 advance payment in order to sign your contract by midnight on February 17. Update your housing preferences online by midnight.
Feb. 22 Same Room Sign Up: Starting at 10:00 a.m. until February 23 at 10:00 a.m., students will be able to select the option to remain in current room assignment for next year.
Feb. 27 Early New Room Sign Up: Starting at 10:00 a.m. until February 28 at 10:00 a.m., students whose current room assignment is not available to reselect will be able to select a room assignment.
Feb. 28 New Room Sign Up: Starting at 10:00 a.m. until March 1 at 10:00 a.m., students who do not wish to return to their current room assignment will be able to select a different room for next year.
How likely am I to be a offered a contract?
If you are a current resident and complete your housing application and pay the $50 housing application fee by January 31, you will receive a housing contract. If you apply after January 31, you will be on the waitlist for housing.
How do I complete my application?

  • The application fee is $50 (non-refundable). You will be billed when you confirm your application.
  • Payment must be received by January 31 for your application to be complete.
  • Use Discover, MasterCard, Visa, eCheck or Electronic Funds Transfer to pay online.
  • Pay by cash or check in person at the Bursars office, located in room 8 in the Main Building.
What should I do if I do not apply by January 31?
  • You can still apply after January 31. However, current residents who apply after the January 31 priority deadline are not guaranteed to receive a contract offer.
  • Space is offered based on availability.
